2. Information We Collect
We collect information in several ways to provide and improve our services:
Information You Provide Directly:
- • Contact information (name, email address, phone number)
- • Business information (company name, position, business address)
- • Project requirements and technical specifications
- • Communication content when you contact us
Information Collected Automatically:
- • Technical data needed to deliver the site securely (IP address, browser and device type, requested pages), processed by our hosting provider
- • Aggregated, cookie-less analytics (page views, referrer, country, browser and device type) that do not identify you and use no persistent identifier
- • Anti-abuse data for the website’s forms: a short-lived form token bound to your connection, and rate-limiting counters keyed to your IP address
- • This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
Service Delivery:
- • Providing software development and IT consulting services
- • Managing and maintaining client relationships
- • Processing and fulfilling service requests
- • Technical support and customer service
Business Operations:
- • Improving our services and developing new features
- • Analyzing usage patterns to enhance user experience
- • Sending service-related communications
- • Billing and payment processing
Legal and Security:

4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data only where the law gives us a basis for it.
The messages you send us.
For the personal data you send through a form on this website — the contact form and the consulting request form — our basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our work and in preparing an engagement you asked us about (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; Law 195/2024 in the Republic of Moldova). We do not ask you to agree to this, because your enquiry is itself the thing we are answering: a consent box would claim a permission we are not relying on, and would suggest that withdrawing it takes back a message you chose to send.
Keeping the site up and the forms usable.
For the technical data our hosting provider processes to deliver these pages, and for the short-lived tokens and counters that keep the forms from being abused, our basis is the same legitimate interest, pursued as the security and availability of the service.
Where we do ask for consent,
we ask at the point it is needed and say what it is for. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawal does not affect what we did while it was in force.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We respect your privacy and limit the sharing of your information. We may share data only in these circumstances:
Service Providers:
We work with trusted third parties who help us operate our business (hosting providers, payment processors, analytics services). These partners are contractually bound to protect your data. The current list of these providers, what each one does for us and where it is located is published on our Trust page.
Legal Requirements:
We may disclose information when required by law, a court order or a lawful request from a public authority, or when necessary to protect our rights, property or safety or those of others.
Business Transfers:
In case of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.
With Your Consent:
We will share your information for any other purpose only with your explicit consent.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data:
- •Encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest
- •Regular security assessments and updates
- •Access controls and authentication systems
- •Employee training on data protection
- •Secure development practices in our software solutions
7. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data we hold
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request the removal of your personal data
- Portability: Receive your data in a structured format
- Restriction: Limit how we use your information
Your right to object.
Where we rely on legitimate interest — which covers the messages you send through the forms on this site and the technical data described in Section 2 — you may object to that processing at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation. Write to info@delionsoft.com and tell us what you object to. We will stop unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or unless we need the data to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
To exercise these rights, contact us at info@delionsoft.com
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in the Republic of Moldova this is the National Center for Personal Data Protection (CNPDCP, datepersonale.md); you may also contact the authority of your own country of residence.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy, typically:
9. International Transfers
As we operate from Moldova and serve international clients, your data may be transferred across borders. Our hosting, e-mail and code-hosting providers are located in the United States; they are listed on our Trust page. Where personal data leaves the country in which it was collected, we rely on the safeguards recognised by applicable law, including standard contractual clauses in our agreements with those providers and their own published data-protection commitments.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates the latest revision. We will notify you of significant changes via email or website notice.
