Consulting engagements answer the questions that come before — or instead of — a development project: Is this architecture going to hold? How should our delivery pipeline look? Where are we exposed, and what should we fix first?
We are an advisory partner, not an operations vendor. We do not run your infrastructure or your security monitoring, which means our recommendations are not tied to selling you a managed service. You receive a written assessment and a prioritised plan that your own team or your chosen vendors can execute.
Advisory areas
Software engineering
Architecture review, technology selection, code and delivery-process audit, technical due diligence and modernisation roadmaps for legacy systems.
DevOps advisory
CI/CD design, environment and release strategy, infrastructure-as-code approach, observability and cloud cost review — delivered as a plan your team executes.
Cybersecurity advisory
Security posture assessment, threat modelling, secure development lifecycle, hardening recommendations for web applications and cloud accounts, and a vulnerability management process.
Technical partner for leadership
Ongoing guidance for founders and SMB management on build-vs-buy decisions, vendor selection, hiring and technology risk.
What you receive
- 01
Assessment
Interviews, documentation and code review, and a look at the actual running systems. We measure the current state before recommending anything.
- 02
Written report
Findings ranked by risk and impact, with concrete recommendations — not a slide deck of generic best practices.
- 03
Roadmap
A sequenced plan with quick wins, structural changes and the trade-offs of each, sized so it can be budgeted.
- 04
Review sessions
Walkthroughs with your team and follow-up checkpoints while the plan is being implemented.
Frequently asked questions
- Do you implement the DevOps or security changes you recommend?
- Development-side changes — application hardening, CI/CD for the software we build — yes. Operating infrastructure, running a SOC or managing your security tooling — no; we design the plan and your team or a specialised vendor runs it.
- Do you perform penetration tests?
- We perform application-level security assessments as part of an engagement and help you scope and evaluate independent penetration tests. We do not position ourselves as a certified penetration-testing firm.
- How long does an assessment take?
- A focused architecture or security review typically takes two to four weeks, depending on the size of the system and access to your team.
